Landhotel Alte Aue in Altenau

Great idea with the mulled wine stand on Sunday, i. 11/29/20. The number of people very clearly. Unfortunately we didn't have any moss with us. We'll come back and bring our own cups and then sit on a bench in the spa gardens. Then it is "Corona compliant" and there is no stress with the regulatory office.

The food is great. Big portions and really tasty. Were only there to eat, not as hotel guests. Card payment was not possible, it would have been nice if that had been said beforehand. But we can definitely recommend the food.

Have just come from there ... It was great ? Food and drinks were very good, very nice and funny service. We'd love to come back ?

We went to eat here after a long day of hiking. Had the kale ... It was very good and a decent portion. Then a good Irish coffee ... Service was super friendly and attentive. Nice and rustic at that ... Had nothing to complain about and was great. Hence 5 stars ...

Very friendly staff, excellent food. Dark Altenauer beer is very recommendable. Price-performance ratio is very good.

A very nice waiter who seems to like his job very much, a very cozy atmosphere and delicious food, I am very impressed by this nice restaurant.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and slept well. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Room clean and tidy. We would come again!

Friendly staff - great breakfast buffet - the room furnishings are a bit old, the bathroom was nicely renovated. Different houses belong to the hotel. Small parking lot for hotel guests.

We were family guests 3 times. All food and drinks were lovingly and deliciously prepared. Extra requests were also implemented without any problems. We were more than thrilled! Many thanks for everything!

Our dinner was delicious. The establishment of the restaurant stopped in the 70s. Fortunately, cashless payment with a smartphone is possible, but only from € 20

Very cozy... We had booked the large apartment for 4 people. This is located in the house opposite. A very nice, furnished with light wood furniture apartment. Very clean, comfortable and functional. The existing kitchen contains everything you need for preparing meals. The beds are very comfortable, the mattresses good for a good night's sleep. In the restaurant you eat very well. Service nice and attentive, also for small children. A very nice stay, we will definitely be back.

This hotel excels in exquisite service. Friendly staff. We found ourself a little demanding but they solved all requests with a smile and went beyond even after we left they still offer their friendly service. The hotel consist out of multiple buildings. We had a suite in a separate building which had a classic look and feel. The balcony was big and we had view of the small river. The beds where comfortable and we had a good night there. The restaurant is fitting to the scenery with a good menu. The served food was plenty and tasteful, we had a terrific meal. The breakfast was complete with plenty to choose from. In my humble oppinion worth every penny. If you have a choice. Choose them.

Average food at normal prices. The burger was very good, the roast and the soup very spicy. The chicken strips on the salad were a bit burned - the salad was otherwise good. We had expected too much from the description on the menu. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Rooms need a renovation. Otherwise very clean. Breakfast is good
